In case WordPress returns an error

Destination folder already exists. /www/wp-content/plugins/wonderplugin-carousel/

Plugin installation failed.

It means the plugin (could be a previous version) is already installed. In this case, you need to click on the "Replace current with uploaded" button.

After replacing the plugin, you should see the following message indicating the plugin updated successfully.

If the error still keeps showing up, go to the "Installed Plugins" page and delete the current version of the plugin by pressing the "Delete" button. If the plugin is activated, press "Deactivate" > "Delete". Then, upload the zip file again.
