Manual installation guide of the Nextsale Shopify app.

During the installation process Nextsale follows many installation steps such as geting access token, adding script tags, registering webhooks etc. It's not possible to do all steps manually and actually you don't need to. We do all that for you. All you need to do is to click the "Add app" button in the Shopify app store and grant access to your store.

During the installation process, Nextsale do minor changes in your theme files. These changes doesn't affect your theme look. In most cases, you don't need to worry about these changes at all. But if you're using highly customized theme there is a small possibility that our app may not be able to make these necessary changes in your theme. You can check following steps to be sure if the app is installed correctly.

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

  2. For the active theme, click Actions, then click Edit code:

  3. From the file directory in the sidebar, check if nextsale.liquid file exists under the Snippets directory.

  4. Open the theme.liquid file under the Layout directory and scroll down to the end of the file. Check if the following code snippet exists at the end of the file just before {% include 'nextsale' %} tag.
